Introduction

Information in electronic form, which will support integrated and co-ordinated care, across health and social care boundaries, and available wherever care is delivered. This is epitomised by the concept of IMHER – Integrated Mental Health Electronic Record. It details information about the service user to enable seamless co-ordinated care to be provided. Using appropriate confidentiality and securing protocols, information regarding each service user’s assessments, care plans and progress will be available, to read or add to, wherever staff are delivering care.
