does StaffBank do?
The
system revolves around a database that holds details
of individuals who are registered with it. It holds their Availability,
Non-availability, Qualifications and Personal Preferences.
StaffBank
generates timesheets with proper online checks of the
hours worked and authorised signatories. The calculations
are done keeping in mind the current working guidelines
on overtime, holidays, nightshifts, etc.
StaffBank also generates Payrolls, which can be seamlessly integrated with
other systems.
It boasts of a very strong Audit Trail mechanism which tracks the changes to
all the important information held in the system.
The system has a comprehensive set of Management Reports.
It is available in standalone mode, networked mode, allows web access and even
handheld PDAs like Compaq IPAQ, etc., which covers most of the currently available
(and affordable) technologies and is miles ahead of others.
A user of StaffBank on Web can make a request/booking, confirm/inform, process
timesheets, etc.
StaffBank on Web also includes other important functionalities like processing
of payrolls, handling agency bookings, processing agency timesheets and the
invoicing side of the agency.
- Automated
matching process: One of the major developments in
StaffBank is the Auto Availability feature. With
Auto Availability, the application does a search
for available staff for shifts that are unfilled/filled
by Agency staff in the backend. Upon finding suitable
matches, it prompts the user regarding the requests
that have staff available and will try and reduce
the number of unfilled shifts. The system refreshes
this availability every 5 minutes and flashes the
shift to bring it to the user's
attention. The user simply has to select the staff
to make the booking with the available match.

Auto
Update for remote install of StaffBank: StaffBank
now has a built in tool called Live Update. Live
Update is an application that is used for automating
the StaffBank Version upgrades. The clients need
not install StaffBank on each and every client machine
when upgrading to newer versions. Live Update application
can be used to upgrade all machines to the newer
version at once.

access to local MDB has been removed making it totally
Terminal Server compliant.
